XBAND Summary
It's Turkey Day '96, and it's time to watch MST3K all day like any self-
respecting MSTie would do! The best viewing summary was by Sailor Minneapolis.
"So, Sci-Fi isn't doing a marathon of MST3K! THAT SUKZ!!! Oh well, I'll just
slap in some crappy anime and do my own insults with my MST3K/Anime lovin'
friends and par-tee like it was 1999! Fridays RULE! TGIF!" Enjoy your classic
MST tapes and turkey today. *mSt3k*

"Stuffing Vs. Potatoes" by mstanon@msties.com
So you're gagging on your turkey as you laugh hysterically from MST, eh? Or
maybe doing a spit take with some egg nog? Well, celebration of this caliber
shouldn't be hazardous to your health, well being, or reputation. You can
correct most Turkey Day woes by checking your food and drink for epicacs such
as wishbones and mayo... Especially in the cranberry sauce. The FDA suggests
that you have your Turkey Day meal x-rayed before consuming to maintain the
proper radiation level. (Nuclear photons are good for night vision, according
to the latest test.) During your meal, remember not to elbow any of your
friends, family, or hitch-hikers while reaching for the gravy that Jan made.
Finally, wash your feast fit for a king down with a good helping of pumpkin
pie frozen like a brick and a hearty helping of MST3K!

Bass Commando
Well, my personal picks are: Cave Dwellers, The Day the Earth Froze, Daddy-O,
and we'll round out the afternoon with a hearty helping of Warrior of the Lost
World.

If all goes according to plan, I'm going to be watching at least 18 hours of
Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Turkey Day. As soon as I wake up, I'll watch
the end of Macy's and promptly pop in my tape of Manos: the Hands of Fate.
Once I survive, I'll scarf down my feast and relax with such laugh riots as
San Francisco International, Night of the Blood Beast (701T), First Spaceship
to Venus, and War of the Colossal Beast. A quick snack and a lot of caffeine
will get me through Hercules Against the Moon Men, Bride of the Monster, and
Brute Man. The following dawn will mark the end of my MST3K marathon with the
end of an era: Mitchell!

From the Poobah
I'd like to wish each and every one of you a happy Turkey Day! As I'd like you
members to get to know one another, I'm going to make the roster on our home
page a lot better... But I need your help. What I'd like you to do is send in
one of your favorite pics to represent you. (Not an actual photo of yourself,
but an XBAND style pic.) You should also write your own bio. This way, we can
better get to know one another, and eventually hold chat events in the
not-too-distant future! If you need an example, check out the entry of one of
our first members at http://users.aol.com/MSTAnon/001.htm. Don't worry,
though, the new roster will be password protected to let only members in, OK?
Remember, you can always write a short article for this newsletter. The more
the merrier! Until next issue!
