XBAND Summary
I hope you had a good Turkey Day! Let us all sing "Merry Christmas, If That's
Okay." The last MSTie of the Month for 1996 is tvfrank@ix.netcom.com. "Hi, I'm
Mike (the birdman) Bird and I'm 16, I like Mst3k (duh), computers, Mars
Attacks, Star Wars, 'ya know. I'm in the 10th grade (sophomore in high school
for you playing at home). My favorite quote from a MST ep. is 'Captain, I've
got it fixed! It's all working again!' My favorite MST ep. is 'Warrior of the
Lost World.' My info club number is 67539." *mSt3k*

"SCI-FI Only for MST?" by mimyers2@vt.edu
So now that MST3K is on the Sci-Fi channel, I was thinking...the Sci-Fi
channel already owns the rights to show a wide selection of B-movies. The
entire Godzilla saga for instance. Maybe Sci-Fi can just pass these on to MST?
Think of the money they would save if Sci-Fi could provide the riffing
fare. The leftover budget could be used on new sets or something. Wouldn't
that be great? The plot could go in a whole new direction... and it might as
well, now that we have lost Frank AND Dr. Forrester.

"Oh, Bite Me! It's Fun!" by MattTRobot@aol.com
Hello, everybody, and welcome to MST3K phrases 101. There are so many uses
for MST3K phrases. Let's take "Hi-Keeba" for instance; it may be used as a
greeting for MSTies everywhere. Due to the "Hi" at the beginning, I especially
like it. Also available for a response to a greeting is "Thank you." I forget
what episode that was from, but I use it. Back to "Hi-Keeba," I have a
special use for it. In my high school there is our weird weight trainer. Every
morning I stroll past him minding my own business when he'll just off his
bench and scream "Hi fellas!" Please note that I am the only one within visual
range of "Hi fellas!" So one day I prepared to MiST him. As I walked by he did
his routine, said "Hi fellas," and I responded "Hi......KEEBA!" As my friends
and I cackled down the hall, he looked utterly perplexed. It was great. Sorry
to get up on my soapbox there, but I just had to tell that one. Another useful
saying, really song, was when my friends and I see a person with an abnormally
large head we break out in "Big Head," also getting a few strange looks. If
you see hairy people: hippies, hicks, or such, I always yell "Huzzah" unless
the stench of them drives me away first. "Oh bite me, it's fun!" has so many
uses I couldn't possibly list them all. I tried using it for my senior quote
and I got yelled at. Can you believe them? Ah, I'm just bitter. Anyhoo, I
could go on forever with these examples, but really I couldn't, so I going to
collect uses. If you have any, please e-mail them to
