XBAND Summary
Welcome to Season 8! As new MST3K hits SFC, feel free to write in with your
takes on each episode. The best responses will be published in this
newsletter. The MSTie of the Month for February is Steel Assassin. "You like
me, you really like me! Oh, wait. No you don't. Well fine, I don't like you
either! I want everyone reading this to send me some mail. Together we'll
track down Trace B. and FORCE him to be Crow's voice! YAHAHA!!" *mSt3k*

Well, what do you know?! We've been asking the wrong questions all along. Deep
13 is no more, and Pearl is now on the surface of the Planet of the Apes,
about to chase Mike and the Bots all across the Universe. Sure, we'll miss
Deep 13 and all the fond memories it leaves behind, but this opens up a bright
future for MST3K! With a fresh, new premise, the folks up at Best Brains can
flex their creative power and give us some original comedy only possible in
deep space. Before this turns into the description of Star Trek: Voyager, I
move on to Crow. He's... different. A long stay aboard the SOL must've rusted
his voice and memory. It's hard to believe he didn't want to play at the edge
of the Universe.

It's been almost a year, now, since the MSTies Anonymous Home Page went up and
it's time for a change. ARKMAY@pobox.com and Cool6000@juno.com have created
potential new logos for our club, and I want all you members to decide between
them. Check these out, then send me a vote for your
favorite. The winning logo will go up on Sunday, February 23rd. All thirteen
episodes of Season 8 rock on through May!
